If you do drive your destination should be no more than three hundred miles from home. That way you'll be able to get there in a day or to including stops to entertain the kids and get a break to stretch your legs.
Take your time! Your on vacation and your time in the car, with your family, can be fun. You can play all the classic games like "I Spy" and many others along the way and have the fun of re-bonding with your family members.
Remember, be patient and a team member. Everyone in the car should have a vote on where to stop and what to do. Let each person have their suggestion they make recognized. All ideas are good ideas and should not be ridiculed. Have fun!
