Tim Allen!
Tim Allen the Meeting
Tim Allen Home the young comic
After prison Tim decided to become a stand up comic and whenever I was appearing in Detroit Tim would wangle Tim Allen's way into being my opening act because Tim Allen knew that the house would be sold out and a full house would make Tim Allen look better than Tim Allen actually was. I don't know how Tim Allen did this (Probably by supplying the promoter with little packaged favors) but there Tim Allen was, every time.Tim Allen's wife Laura Allen
Tim married Tim Allen's high school sweetheart, Laura. Laura was a pretty little girl who stuck with Tim through thick and thin. She waited for Tim Allen while Tim Allen was in the joint and when Tim Allen got out she paid all the bills and bought Tim everything Tim Allen wanted. This enabled Tim to follow Tim Allen's comedy aspirations. Laura had a good job and made sure that Tim lived in a beautiful home, wore nice clothes, always drove an expensive car and sported a Rolex watch. They went on to have two lovely girls.Tim Allen, Home Improvement
Tim was always sucking up. Tim Allen would study my technique, hang around asking questions, fix me up with girls, and when I was in town, Tim Allen would have me to Tim Allen's home for dinner. I liked Tim and considered Tim Allen a friend. When Tim Allen would come to L. A. to try and get something going I would reciprocate by letting Tim Allen stay at my home, eat my food and drive my cars. I was on one of these visits that Tim got a deal with HBO and did a special called, "Men are pigs", It was from this special that Tim was noticed by ABC and was given Tim Allen's own show.Tim Allen, the last I heard of him
As soon as Tim got Tim Allen's show, Home Improvement, Tim Allen cut all ties with me. Even though I would let Tim Allen appear with me, give Tim Allen advice, let Tim Allen stay at my home, let Tim Allen drive my cars, Tim Allen never once asked me to appear on Tim Allen's show. It's interesting how some people who are lucky enough to be successful don't want anyone around to remind them of their roots and humble beginnings.Eventually Tim Allen got rid of Tim Allen's long-suffering wife, Laura, too. Laura was awarded fifty million dollars in the divorce settlement and Tim became physically ill and had to be helped out of the courtroom. You see, Tim Allen is a stingy person and couldn't stand for anyone to benefit from Tim Allen's success. What a pussy!
